Vijayathiram – From Fear to Confidence, Stress to Success

Some professional engagements remain memorable not merely because of the occasion itself, but because of the meaningful connections they create. One such cherished experience was my opportunity to be part of ‘Vijayathiram – A Motivation Class’, organised by National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit No. 652, NSS HSS Mullurkkara, on 19 September 2026 at 10.00 a.m. at the School Auditorium.

I was honoured to be invited as the Resource Person for the session, titled “From Fear to Confidence, Stress to Success.” The session was envisioned as an engaging and purposeful interaction with the NSS volunteers, focusing on the challenges associated with examination stress, the cultivation of self-confidence, and the development of a positive and resilient approach to learning and achievement.

Through conversations, reflections and shared experiences, the session sought to inspire the students to look beyond fear and anxiety, recognise their own potential, and approach their academic journey with greater confidence and purpose. 

Adding a particularly special dimension to the occasion was the heartfelt gesture of the Principal, Dr.Soumya P Susheel, Teachers and other Staff of NSS HSS Mullurkkara, who honoured me in recognition of the successful completion of my Ph.D. The felicitation, held in the Staff Room, was an unexpectedly touching and humbling moment. Being acknowledged by a school that holds a special place in my journey made the gesture all the more meaningful.

I place on record my sincere gratitude to the Principal, staff members and the NSS Programme Officers of NSS HSS Mullurkkara, as well as the entire NSS Unit No. 652, for their warm hospitality, thoughtful organisation and the opportunity to share a few words with the students.

Some occasions are events; a few become memories. Vijayathiram was one such memorable encounter—an opportunity to inspire, to connect, and to return with renewed inspiration myself.
